Meet Samantha Gonzales LM, CPM
I have always believed that birth is one of the most brilliant and transformative experiences a human can undergo. My path to midwifery wasn't a straight line, but every step was purposeful. I spent over twenty years in the medical field, starting as a medical assistant and phlebotomist, where I first witnessed the awe-inspiring ability of a woman's body to produce life.
In 2013, I transitioned into midwifery training with WomanCraft Midwifery, and since then, I have dedicated myself to being a guardian of the physiological birth process. I am a firm believer in 'holding space' and ensuring that you are active participant in your care. To support this, I continually bridge the gap between clinical safety and holistic tradition, maintaining my Oklahoma Midwifery License and CPM credentials alongside specialized training in everything from breastfeeding support to acupressure.
My greatest teachers, however, have been my own three children. My birth experiences with them are the reason I am a midwife today. When I’m not at a birth or driving to appointments, I’m usually at home in Norman, probably with a book in my hand, a quilt in progress, or playing games with my kids.

Beyond clinical expertise, our experience is rooted in the sacred variety of birth. We specialize in the calm of home births, the gentle intensity of water births, and the empowering journey of VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). With certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation and CPR, we bring a trained birth team to your side, integrating herbal remedies and movement therapy to honor the physical and emotional milestones of your unique labor.
